Great hotel and well positioned

Staff were insightful and couldn’t help enough. Room was clean and very comfortable, everything we could possibly need was present. Breakfast was good and we found nothing to complain about. Overall a brilliant hotel would 100% stay here again

Great for business

Have regularly stayed at this hotel over the course of the last two years on business trips. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable and relatively quiet. Highly recommended.

Good base for City break

I booked this hotel for a 4 night city break holiday based on location & price. Location is ideal - only a couple of blocks from Holborn tube station & with a couple of nice pubs in a small sidestreet. Value was very good - comfortable well kept room. Not too many amenities at the property, but I knew this before booking. Staff efficient at checkin & checkout

Couple

Hotel is in a great location, close to all public transport, Holborn station and Russell Square short walk from hotel making it very easy to access all parts of London day/night. The hotel was an excellent base. Bloomsbury itself is a good area with plenty of cafes, restaurents, pubs, shops. The hotel room was quite small but to be expected in London City. Good value for money as the price of stay was very reasonable.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel. Room very clean but small but expected that. Reception staff very friendly. Only gripe would be noise of possibly maintenance or cleaning staff around rooms were very noisy letting doors slam behind them early in morning

Good down to earth hotel

The hotel is ideally situated in Central London. Nice clean room and shower which included the little things necessary for your stay such as hairdryer, fan and ironing board with iron. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful always carrying out their duties with a smile especially Sam and Mo. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location

This hotel is perfect for soho, covent garden etc. tube station a few minites away but also within walking distance. . It is on a busy road but my room was at the back and I didn't hear the traffic. Unfortunately our stay was tarnished slightly as our room had been given to someone else. We ended up having to have 2 single rooms which were very small and on the 4th floor with no lift access. It was lucky we don't have any mobility issues! I'm not sure why this occurred as I'd paid for my reservation 3 months ago so expected to get the room I'd paid for. We were offered complimentary breakfast and a bottle of wine, but the staff weren't very apologetic. Other than this, I think this hotel is good value, if you can get a deal, considering its location. Breakfast was very good. If you have mobility issues, make sure you put this on your reservation, as part of the building only has stairs. They just need to sort out their reservation system!
