Dear Guest, We thank you for your review and high score rating. Space in London does come at a premium. For the location and the type of hotel we are, the room sizes are much the same throughout the area. I believe you are unfamiliar with this fact and so find it unusual. The shower pod ensuite rooms are most space efficient private facilities. They do provide most guests needs adequately. The hotel buildings were built in the 1850s. Back then there weren't any provisions for incorporating. Now these buildings are listed and we are not able to install a lift. So we have good old fashioned stairs. As your room was on the top, 4th floor (not the 6th floor), some guests look at this being good for their health, climbing stairs. Kind regards Tudor Court Hotel
