Walled City B&B is located in Londonderry. Museum of Free Derry and Bloody Sunday Memorial and Tower Museum are cultural highlights, while Derry City Walls is a notable landmark. Riverwatch Aquarium and Visitor Centre and Templemore Sports Complex are also worth visiting. Our guests appreciate the bed & breakfast's location for the sightseeing.
Absolutely beautiful place, was given an amazing room just like a 4* hotel and the pleasure of meeting the owner kevin, really nice gentleman. The b&b is situated only 5 mins walk from town centre and 10mins from bus station
No accommodation available - owner relet the room to guests who wanted to extend their trip even though we'd booked and PAID well in advance. Made me drive him to a place further out of town with far fewer facilities. No en suite, no tv. Very nice, sympathetic host but we were not happy at being dumped with no other options after driving 7 hours to get there. Ruined are plans and our stay in Derry. Despicable behaviour.
Derry is an amazing city - especially the "Free Derry' part of town. For this B&B, the owner is very firendly but it is too small for a couple.
When we arrived, we were told that we would be staying in their other B&B "around the corner, just 100m away". As it turned out, the B&B we got to stay in was 1km away (as per Google Maps), further away from the city centre and the room we had booked was supposed to have a private bathroom, while the room we got to stay in in the other B&B had a shared bathroom. We never got what we had booked even though we received a booking confirmation saying we would be staying in the Walled City B&B. To be fair, the other B&B and the host there was very nice, but still, not what we had booked!
