For a place that contains so much history, it seems so neglected. The staff where very welcoming and delightful. I guess they would need to be considering the product does stack up. I've stayed in B&B's with more to offer. Unable to have a shower in the morning, by far worst thing. It is a shame as the hotel itself has much character. They had notices up regarding refurbishment work. Lets hope this improves the standard of what being sold here.

Thank you for staying with us and for your encouraging words, we are really committed to this and while your words hurt deeply we take it on the chin as you are a guest in our home. The shower was fine so I am not sure what happened there, unfortunately. We are very mindful that what some call neglect most call character especially this time of the year when the building moves and adjusts with the water table. I am sorry this wasn't explained to you.
