Located in Lugano, Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac is connected to the convention centre and on a lake. Museum of Modern Art and Giancarlo and Danna Olgiati Collection are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Piazza della Riforma and San Lorenzo Cathedral. Swissminiatur and Alprose Chocolate Factory are also worth visiting.

The hotel was amazing. Received a room upgrade to a room with a large balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel was very clean with excellent service and helpful staff. I definitely recommend this property.
The hotel is very nice and location is highly desirable. Unfortunately however, service is not as high quality as one would expect. From non functional safe to lack of personnel at checkout, room still with ckeaning lady at check in , etc.. worth investing on more qualifued and trained personnel
Very nice! There was a problem. A construction was running close to my room and they started to work at 8 am. With año use machine.
This hotel is a few minutes walk from the main area. That’s not a problem. Check in with very friendly staff. Then told that they don’t accept Euros and that you should change your money. Not good for a one day stay. The room was ok - sitcom worked a treat and the small balcony served its purpose. Beds hard and really the furniture was 70s and out dated. Slpt well though. Bathroom big and roomy - biggest bath I have ever seen. Modern - which clashes with the dated room. Breakfast basic with staff slightly unfriendly. With city tax the cost was about £250 which I thought expensive ( maybe that’s the rate though). I would stay again , but wouldn’t rush to book
