Great Service but the hotel needs some TLC
The grounds are shared with the Winter Palace and shared facilities are really great (restaurants, pool). The service is excellent, however the Pavillon Winter Luxor hotel needs some major refurbishment. It feels like a hospital; carpetting in the rooms and hallways is old and doesn't appear to have been washed for years. The rooms could use a good deep clean. the bathrooms are ok. For a hotel with such character it is really a shame that it's not in better condition. The service was outsanding.
