Decent room and hotel grounds. However, nothing going on in or around the hotel. Nice pool and gym area. Breakfast was terrible. For the price, I was expecting much more. If you need somewhere to get your head down, and don’t mind paying through the nose, it’s ok. Otherwise, I’d avoid.

Great hotel in a beautiful location within walking distance of Lymington. Hotel room was perfect when travelling with a family. The room was spacious & had a separate little room with bunk beds for children. It was located a short walk from the main building in a quiet courtyard. The staff were friendly & helpful and the hotel is just 30 minutes from Peppa Pig World.

We had a lovely family Christmas together at Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel. Although we were away from home it felt very homely. The 2 bed apartment was lovely with a view on the Solent and the staff were really nice and made us feel at home.

Dissappointing

This was a last minute booking for special birthday. We should have done more research on the property, as we assumed we would be staying in the beautiful period property that fronts all their promotional material. Mistake, we were shown straight out of the back door where there are purpose build units only accessible from outside, if you happen to be upstairs you would need to negotiate an outside wooden stairway, not much fun if dark and raining. The Steak bar, also outside of the main building was closed at 6 oclock on both nights we were there. Having mentioned all of this when checking out we were informed it was all on their website, strange they had chosen the house, which apparently is mainly timeshare, to promote the accommodation and not the actual units they put people in. Needless to stay we will not be returning

Family tip to Lymington

The hotel is situated in a very nice location. We stayed in apartment style accommodation. Convenient distance to the town.

Excellent getaway in the heart of the New Forest..

Stay at the hotel was very relaxing. The staff were excellent, particularly Lynda at breakfast and the two reception girls Beth and Bec. The breakfast was excellent,loads of chioce and cooked to a high standard.Compliments to the chef!!! Only observation would be to install more electric sockets on either side of the bed,for laptops,i phones,etc..
