ideal for the new forest

Pros: plenty of parking
Cons: the decore
Location: plenty to do in the new forest
our stay was for a family wedding in the near-by locality it was comfortable and suited our needs, the rooms are in need of a bit of a make-over to brighten them up. the food was very good and service was excellent the breakfast was good

Good staff, great food, ideal location

Pros: Staff, Location, Price and easy to find
Cons: Easier access to upper rooms as stairs will be an issue for those with disabilities or muscle issues.
Location: Lyndhurst village is a two minute walk with cafés,shops, pubs and a chippy. Bournemouth is a short drive and Southampton even closer.
I missed my check in time but staff were very accommodating. Evening meal was great and girlfriend enjoyed her meal, even though she's very fussy and sensitive. Rooms are cosy and smoke free and nicely presented, though the stairs are hard work for those with muscle aches or disabilities. All staff were excellent,especially the lady with the fluffy socks...lol... Ideally located for centre of New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth's coast etc. I'll be staying again.

Auf den ersten Blick sehr schönes Ambiente

Cons: Die Zustellbetten müssen dringend erneuert werden!
Wenn man in dem Hotel ankommt steht man als erstes im Restaurant das dazu gehört. Alles ist schön dekoriert und macht einen tollen Eindruck. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer 2Erw und zwei Teenager. Das grosse doppel Bett war sehr bequem, aber die beiden Betten für unsere Kinder waren absolut untauglich. Eine ca 4-5cm dicke Matratze auf Metallfedern ist nicht so toll! Sie haben dann die Matratzen auf den Boden gelegt. Die Zimmer sind wohl seit der erstellung in den 80-ern nicht mehr erneuert worden und das sieht man leider auch. Wirklich sehr schade da der Ort sehr schön wäre.
