Pleasant stay but not sure if it's of 5* grade

The hotel is in a decent location within walking distance from the main shopping street as wel as the old city etc. Upon entry the hotel also has a good, clean interior with attentive and helpful staff - however, not all of them seemed very experienced, which, normally I wouldn't think about twice but still would not expect at a 5* hotel. For some reason the decor throughout is quite China-centric which I found curious. Whilst the rooms were being maintained and cleaned well, I still noted many scratches on the desks to the point that it actually looked dirty when it wasn't. Anything with a wood surface looked quite tired and one of our two dressing gowns also had tears on seams.

a smart but over-priced hotel

This is without doubt a nice hotel to look at once you are inside. Unless you get it as part of a package deal, it is ridiculously over-priced both to stay in and to dine at. 26 Euros for breakfast!!

The view from the roof restaurant is magnifique! Otherwise, this is not the 5 star hotel anymore. The breakfast service is really clumsy, and the reception service is arrogant.

Cela ne vaut pas un 5 étoiles! Tout est à revoir du petit déjeuner à l’état des moquettes en passant par ce qui est proposé pour accompagner les cocktails hors de prix.
