This property is perfect for a couple, family or single traveller. The property is located close to many options for public transport, a beach, and many restaurants and grocery shops on the street. The room was very comfortable, and clean, it had a fridge which was very convenient. There was a beautiful view from the balcony, three excellent-sized swimming pools, table tennis, volleyball and badminton. The staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was great plenty to choose from, cereal, yoghurt, bread, cheese, ham, fruit and a selection of hot food and drinks.

Some things that I do not like!!!

Two things that I was disappointed. First, no wi-fi in the rooms, to have contact with the outside world we had to go to the reception and even there there was no good connection. second, to a wonderful island like that, we expected that breakfast would be full of fruits and juices. we had to buy our fruit for breakfast in the morning. On the other hand the people were wonderful to us.

Hilly hotel

The hotel rooms were very basic but the staff were very helpful. The hotel is situated on a steep hill, it has 3 floors and no lifts. Older people should think very carefully before deciding to stay at this hotel and Madeira itself due to the very steep hills you will encounter but it is a very quiet, beautiful and peaceful island.

Fantastic value

The hotel provided everthing i expected and a bit more regarding time to unwind and relaxe by the pools.I was worried about location but as i already had a car rented it was just great only 1 minute away from motorway to get to anywhere on the island.The local people were friendly too and happy to help . Atul

Zentral gelegen man ist schnell in der Stadt (10min mit dem Auto) Perfekt für eine Auszeit. Die Unterkunft könnte neue Betten gebrauchen. Das Frühstück war eintönig. Gab jeden Tag das selbe. Das Hotel war sauber.

Hotelli oli hyvä.

Pros: asuminen siinä 3 viikkoa oli minulle mieleistä, henkilökunta ystävällistä. kaunis ympäristö hotellilla
Cons: kahviaamiainen voisi olla vaihtelevampi,minulle ei muuta parannettavaa.
Location: hotelli sijaitsi erittäin miellyttävällä alueella ja kaunis näkymä merelle päin. hyväkuntoiselle lomailijoille kivat mäet kuntoilla
minä tykkäsin olla siinä ,piha oli hyvä näkymä,merelle ja myös kylälle. Funhalliin pääsi kivast bussilla ja mitkä näkymät matkan varrella. Caracaun kylä kivan näköinen,voisin mennä uudestaan siihen hotelliin ja kylään. OLi rauhallinen ja kaunis ympäristö.

Kasarihotelli

Pros: Ystävällinen henkilökunta
Cons: Täysremontti nykyaikaa vastaavaksi.
Location: Hyvä sijainti eli puolessa välissä lentokenttää ja Funchalia. Bussipysäkki oli heti hotelli edessä, josta oli helppo matkata muualle.
Hotelli oli suoraan kahdeksankymmentäluvulta sisustukseltaan. Huoneessa ei ollut sähköpistokkeita nykyhärpäkkeille. Jos halusi ladata jotain, niin muiden laitteiden johdot piti ottaa irti seinästä (jääkaappi, tv). Jääkaappi oli tosi vanha ja piti pauketta sekä sen ovi irvisti monesta kohtaa. Huoneessa oli muurahaisia, joita löytyi vaatteista ja hedelmistä, jos halusi herkullisia paikallistuotteita huoneeseen. Muurahaiset menivät myös jääkaappiin. Sänky oli järkytys, koska pussilakanoista tai peitosta ei ollut tietoakaan. Peittoina toimivat karkeat ja pöllyävät huovat. Sängyn jouset tuntuivat selässä ja paukahtivat aina kun kääntyi. Tyynyt olivat todella kovat. Isona miinuksena oli myös hiustenkuivaajan puute. Ja jos unohti laittaa oveen kyltin, ettei saa häiritä, niin siivoajat tulivat huoneeseen tosi ajoissa. Öisin ovi käytävään paukkui niin kovasti, että jouduimme tilkitsemään sitä paperilla.
