Over all very disappointing stay. We just could not believe that Hilton would put their name to this establishment. Hilton has always been our preferred choice of hotel when we travel, but this was a major letdown. We arrived late that the hotel after driving for quite some time with my 70-year-old mother, who was very tired, and just wanted to rest when we got to the hotel. However, when we arrived at our room, we found that the room was inadequately cleaned. Windows were full of mould, bathroom with hair and marks on the toilet. For a 4 star hotel, we would expect to have bottled water in the room, or at the very least, an option to purchase what should have been provided in the room. Instead, we would have to order from room service or go downstairs to order from reception which you would not want to do after having been driving all day. We were later told that bottled drinking water was only available to platinum or gold Hilton Honours members. We decided to go to the bar for a few drinks, but found that the staff was just too busy with themselves. One was actually more interested in flirting with a guest than serving and quite often left the bar unattended. The only saving grace for Hilton from this stay is their breakfast staff and the actual breakfast which was good.

hotel staff very helpful room clean beds (good nights sleep) toilet ect food very good all round one of the best hotels I have been to kids wife and me enjoyed it swimming pool staff nice and helpful yes good all of my stay will go stay there next time I am in kent

keine Klimaanlage, das Hotel ist sehr alt und die Einrichtung ist ein die Jahre gekommen, der Pool ist eine warme chlorriechende Kloake, das Internet sehr langsam, der Parkplatz und das Frühstück wird zusätzlich zum hohen Zimmerpreis für diesen Standard zusätzlich berechnet. Wo Hilton drauf steht - muss Hilton nicht drin sein !!!! Nicht zu empfehlen.

Da dieses Gebäude lange bevor es zu einem Hilton-Hotel wurde, wurde zum Zeitpunkt des Baus keine Klimaanlage installiert. Unser Management-Team bespricht dies laufend, aber im Moment ist dies für unser Hotel nicht möglich. Wir haben in diesem Jahr brandneue, größere Ventilatoren für alle Schlafzimmer gekauft, die wir zwar nicht als Klimaanlage verstehen, aber für effektiv befunden haben. Ihr Feedback wird jedoch an unser Management-Team weitergegeben und gespeichert, um in Zukunft berücksichtigt zu werden. Wir hoffen, Sie bald wieder bei uns begrüßen zu können und Ihr Vertrauen in unser Hotel wiederherstellen zu können.
