Almost Perfect*

Pros: The location, the people, the whole set up was excellent
Cons: Stop charging people extra for air conditioning in the room which frankly should be included in the price
Location: 30 min drive from Heraklion Airport on main roads. Ideal if you have a hire car. 5 minute drive to a lovely beach. Recommend Isle of Chrissi.
The hotel is an Oasis in a part of Malia close to the olive groves just outside of town. Staff are wonderfully friendly and pleasant. The rooms are well kept and tidy and the grounds are excellent The swimming pool is also great along with the bar and dinner next to it. I highly recommend a stay here, provided you have transport to explore Crete as well. I read a lot of positive feedback on this place and I would agree with 99% of it. *The only downside was the hidden charge for Air Conditioning per room. Nobody makes any mention of this anywhere until you arrive. It is published in the information notice in the rooms, but I can't help but feel this is a hidden cost, given you get no warning on eBookers about it before you go.
