Budget hotel in a great location

Hey, You get what you pay for. This hotel is in a fantastic location, on the waterfront right next to the boats, public transport etc. Restaurants, bars and more all right by.... Now the rooms, if you want a sea view and comfort then pay for it. The rooms overlooking the sea are fantastic and roomy. If like us , you travel on a budget then a economy room like we had is very different. Our room was very very small with a tiny window that had no natural daylight whatsoever, the very small window looking out onto a wall, we could not even tell what the weather was like without going onto the hotel terrace or outside! If like us you want a bed, bathroom, shower and a tv with no other comforts then it's fine. Did have air con though and a room safe. The staff were great and as I say if you travel on a tight budget and have no intention on staying in the room apart from sleeping in it then a economy room is fine, or if you want to pay a little more then there are great rooms to be had here.

Thumbs up for this hotel

From beginning to end, my visit to Malta was made more enjoyable by my choice to stay here. Great hotel, fabulous staff, superb location, brilliantly clean, efficient wifi and a breakfast buffet to be proud of. I will definitely be back and I will be booking this hotel again

Terrible trip

The hotel manager was rude unhelpful and did not give a toss about any one so long as his paper work was in order. When we could not up grade from the prison cell room he told us to take it or leave it he then lied and said we could upgrade on Monday when Monday arrived he said no vacancy. Yet the cleaners were able to show us empty rooms. Will never go back or recommend hotel sliema marina

Couple holiday

Very lovely and helpful reception staff....irrespective of the time of the day, they were all friendly and ready to help.. Strategic location to get the ferry tours, right in front... Very clean room and lovely sea side view.. Good breakfast buffet.. There was free wifi but could be better, not very strong. The hotel seem to have thought of every little thing for tourist.. Nice restaurant around. The main shopping mall 'the point' is just 5-8minutes away..

Not Good

I was staying in Bugibba and decided to meet friends in Sliema the room was only £18 with breakfast i thought a great deal but sadly not my single room was like a prison cell maybe smaller it was a closet not for humans, I ended up leaving the hotel and going back to Bugibba so cannot say more!

good hotel

Great location for getting ferry to Valletta, bus terminus also across road and plenty good pubs, cafes & restaurants surrounding hotel with good shops as well. Stayed in sea view room, would highly recommend as the view across Sliema creek and across to Valletta was amazing. Beds comfy, clean room & all staff friendly, have no complaints. Only thing missing was a fridge but if you pay extra for superior room I believe you have a fridge there.
