Don’t go there very poor rooms needs updating. Staff very rude and inexperienced Breakfast food not fresh management terrible Avoid this hotel

Decent rooms and very pleasant cleaners/bar staff but the receptionists are the rudest I have encountered in the UK. Just unbelievably unhelpful,curt and downright horrible

Nice hotel but very rude receptionist!

As we pre booked our stay through booking.com for 2 nights, we arrived there to find a rude girl named Tiffany with a bad attitude telling us she can't find the booking. Her attitude was rude throughout dealing with her from the moment we arrived!! She needs to be tought customer service skills desperately!! She was very ignorant and has no people skills. She was too busy having a laugh with her colleagues to worry about guests!

Worth the money and good location

Good location easy to find. Friendly staff, the room was a good size and comfortable.. Nice quiet hotel .. Asked for more pillows and got them quite quickly .. Good service ..

Unsure!!!!

This is not the first time that I have stayed at The Britannia. When I booked last time the price included breakfast whereas this time it wasn't - even though I feel sure that it was on the web page. Also I mentioned that the shower was not working properly last time but the staff member just shrugged it off. This time when I booked into the hotel I was told that breakfast was NOT included. No mention was made that had I paid £6 per person I could have had breakfast. As it happened I had to pay £10 each - very expensive when I only had toast and a drink. The hotel is looking very tired and is need of an upgrade.

Clean and spacious rooms

The rooms are clean and spacious. You don't stuffy nose the following day. You will need microwave for customers to heat their food.
