Reception and bar area recently refurbished. The 4th floor where we were was old, dated and had a bad smell, probably the ancient carpets. Our very dated room was very small at the back of the building. Furniture should have been thrown out years ago. Strange smell in the internal bathroom. The biggest issue were the ill fitting windows which let in cold air and lots of noise. The excuse for curtains were useless at helping to keep out the draught..The garbage men arrived at 1.30am and deliveries started at 3am and we had to get up at 4am so very little sleep was had! I could have had a cheaper room elsewhere and wish I had! The annoying thing was that had the windows fitted properly sleeping may have been possible. Will not stay here again.

We had a two night stay didn't use facilities like bar or breakfast. It was comfortable but next time will have room with windows. Bed comfortable but would ask for extra pillow only one pillow. Pleaseant stay would recommend but room with windows.

Budget hotel

Very close to the centre of Manchester by being on the edge of Piccadilly Gardens. The room was poorly lit which lost it points in my book. Well priced though.

Good place to stay, the location is central,

Pros: The location and price was not bad
Cons: The breakfast should always be part of the package.
Location: Centrally located and accessible to most basic things you need.
