Good location. Note that postcode takes you to the BACK door on iOS maps. Slightly odd smell from bathroom or AC when you walk in the room. Soon got used to it. Staff friendly. Need to swipe room key to make the lift ascend.

Quick check in, compact room but quiet, decent facilities, only down side was the beds - our double was two singles pushed together which we both found very uncomfortable! Only stayed for one night so bearable but wouldn’t have been happy if I’d been staying longer. Otherwise good.

Good value, central location

Pros: Price, location, good clean bathroom.
Cons: Decor could be a little less dull.
Location: South of centre; cafés nearby for breakfast, near a few buildings of interest but a 15-minute walk to the shopping area.
I just wanted somewhere cheap to stay centrally, and that's what I got. The room was fairly basic-looking; but it had the essentials (wannabe bookshelf in chalk-style print on the wall though!). A little road noise, but I wouldn't be without earplugs (and to their credit, they provided some for those who don't sleep like a log with background traffic). Check-in/out was efficient. There's a mini bar area adjoining the reception area (which I didn't use). If you want to stay one night because you're going to an event far from home (like me) then this could work well, but it's nothing special -- not a place you'd spend much time in.

Nice hotel, better than I expected!

Pros: Clean and comfortable, nice showering facilities, complimentary earplugs, free use of hairdryer, friendly staff members
Cons: Nothing
Location: Heart of the city centre close to Oxford Road, Piccadilly and Victoria stations. Canal Street and Manchester Central both within walking distance.
This was my first stay at this hotel. Location is excellent for all 3 of Manchester's train stations (Oxford Road, Victoria & Piccadilly). Staff were very helpful prior to my arrival (when I phoned to clarify some details about my room) and were very welcoming upon my arrival. My room was very clean and not noisy at all, despite my room being on the front of the hotel (complimentary earplugs are provided should you need them). Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in the city centre and will probably return myself in the very near future if I find myself needing somewhere to stay again in Manchester city centre.
