Very clean hotel, staff friendly apart from the hotel bar and restaurant being closed due to Covid and staff shortages

Absolutely appalling. I don’t often leave reviews, but I wish I hadn’t spent my money here. Staff were rude and unhelpful, check in queue was massive as it could only be done through poorly configured tablets that were very slow. Hotel was dirty, there was dried blood left on the floor all evening near the bar. The bar had run out of most drinks and then charged me £2 for less than half a glass of coke. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and we were woken up by large groups of boys shouting, banging on doors and partying at 3am, which the staff would do nothing about. Then despite paying for breakfast and saying online they could cater for allergies, the gluten free breakfast was abysmal. We were given food that was gluten containing and after sending it back got a second, cold version. The service was so slow I had eaten my toast before the butter arrived. There literally was not one thing that was the saving grace for this hotel, it was one bad thing after the next. It is definitely not worth the money and I won’t be staying again. The jury’s inn group is just terribly run, poor management and processes, constant penny pinching and no care about the customer enjoying their stay.

Ok location with plenty of bars near by, however the area is very dirty with rubbish everywhere even directly outside the hotel. Public areas of the hotel were nice, but the room needed refurbished and the air conditioning didnt work. Have stayed at better Jurys Inn hotels. Staff were nice and helpful.

Fantastic hotel and facilities. A special mention has to go to Antonio who was manning reception on the 18/7/20, he was very polite and provided us with a fantastic service. Highly recommended.
