Good location for city centre. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. 50" TV was good. Breakfast was good, and tables were sanitised between guests, but I did have a "un-sanitised" label added to my table while I was still eating breakfast, which was a bit inappropriate, I thought. The parking at "Q PArk Piazza" was very close, at £20 per 24 hours overnight, and that was with a hotel discount.

The location of this Novotel is an excellent base for walking in the city centre. Car park next door with a 25% discount to hotel guests - remember to ask the receptionist to validate your ticket. Rooms have everything needed for a short stay and we liked the separate wc next to the shower room (unsure if all the rooms have the same layout) The self service buffet breakfast was regularly replenished and a good food offering for this level of accommodation. The staff were ‘hit and miss’ at breakfast meaning that they either couldn’t do enough for you, to a couple who gave no eye contact and clearly didn’t want to be there. The floor was always littered with food and breakfast debris which I appreciate was caused by messy guests yet it was left, so if like us you eat during the final hour of serving, you’ll sit with it around your feet. The staff on reception were welcoming and always helpful. I’d stay here again if I ever want to be centrally located in Manchester.
