I am very sick At the moment and I am waiting to recieved then I will take this matter forward as Ebookers could not do much to help me when I complained!

The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is about 5 minutes’ walk from Old Trafford, and about 15 minutes’ drive from the city centre. But the rooms in urgent need for renovation, the carpets are very pale, the lights are very poor and hardly any lights in the rooms (I had 2 rooms) my wife had to buy cleaning material to clean the bathroom as well. in total it was a very poor experience.

Needs refurbishing

Pros: Car park
Cons: Everything
Location: To watch Manchester United live is great, was not my case.
No more than 2 stars, needs improvements, everything looks old and badly repaired. Room I’ve stayed was quite spacious, have 2 electric heaters inside the room, the rest of the hotel was cold, including the dining room. The full English breakfast you have to order, there are no fried eggs, only powder scramble eggs. The continental breakfast they do is poor, no fresh bread and bad quality croissants and cakes.

Thank you for your valued feedback. At this present time our hotel is only that of a 2 star and is currently under a major refurbishment program to change this. On quiet days we do cook to order this ensures our breakfast to be fresh and hot where as on busier days we do buffet, our scrambled eggs i can assure you are not powdered but cooked freshly, and we always have fresh bread and croissants out.

Good points 1. There was packing space for my car 2. It wasn't far from the city centre 3. There was one or two helpful staff 4. They had a good TV with internet Bad points 1. There was a horrible smell in the room and outside the corridors. 2. The carpet in the room I stayed in was outdated 3. The room was cold and the heater which was a electric one mounted did not work. I get leaving the window open because of the smell. 4. Bathroom needs work tilling the floor with old tiles nearly fell after a shower and the shower head was dirty. 5. There needs to be a member of staff around at reception at all times just incase someone needs help too often I came down looking for staff to help with the heater and found none. When I finally found one I didn't need them as I was tired and just put on a hoody and slept. 6.the carpet in the corridor need changing and the building needs work. I read somewhere part of the building was done up but I couldn't see it. I wouldn't really come back and stay in this place personally but if it's just for a night then I guess one can put up with it.

Thank you for your valued feedback, we are disappointed that you felt you could not bring any of these issues to a member of our team as we have a notice on the door, if staff are not in reception then they will be in the bar upstairs or downstairs in the restaurant. The hotel has just been taken over and is under new ownership the works we have carried out so far is substantial we have had several rooms refurbished all the front of the building has been changed railings down, fencing and shrubbery up. The front of the hotel has been snadblasted pointed and painted, we have had our old bar completely ripped out and a brand new restaurant built, the hallway has been all painted a new bar has been built where 4 rooms have been knocked out, a new breakfast room as been built. We do hope that once all of our refurbishments have taken place you will change your mind and come to stay again, or on booking with us if you mention you would like a newly refurbished room then we will be happy to allocate this for you.
