I chose this location as a stopover for Sundays event at the Armourgeddon Miltiary museum . A birthday present for the other half . It was such a welcoming and homely environment . such a wonderful place to stay and would really recommend to other.

Very comfortable room in the conference annexe. The courtyard area is beautiful to sit and enjoy a drink. Great choice for breakfast.

Very comfortable bed - room and bathroom cleaned daily and fresh towels for each day of our stay too. Hotel staff welcoming and friendly and food in restaurant good too. Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food which was replenished frequently. Drinks prices were what you would expect to pay in a hotel and there is a lovely courtyard area to sit outside if weather is good(which it was during our stay). Would not hesitate to stay here again but would probably ask for a room at the back as they seemed to be quieter. All in all we had a great stay- no complaints!

Good location but needs modernising

This hotel is located in the heart of Market Harborough town centre which has a good selection of shops and restaurants. However the bedrooms are dated with creeky sloping floors...maybe to be expected as it's a old coaching inn. Could do with some aircon in the summer months, and a hot water pipe running directly beneath the floor didn't help either! The restaurant & bars are very nice and the staff are very polite and attentive. Wi-fi is available in the bedrooms although it's very slow. Overall it's good value for money.

Overnight bolt hole

Convenient location with easy parking and check in. Room generally clean apart from by the side of the bedside cabinet and the valance. Decor and facilities a little tired with slow shower and hair drier. Early morning call from two sets of dustbin collections before 7 am. Limited use of facilities or interaction with staff but efficient check in and out.
