Booked as a 60th birthday present the hotel went out of their way to make it a very memorable experience. We arrived late morning but recognising very quickly that we would have caught an early flight and would be hungry, Mohammed (Manager) from the restaurant treated us like guests in his home. Despite the breakfast service being over with he served us everything he thought we would like. On arrival we were upgraded to a luxurious suite, and during the stay the hotel had arranged for the room to be decorated, and a cake to celebrate. Waited on like royalty by the waiters at breakfast every morning and the staff at reception always offering exceptional service, there was no single thing one could fault or complain about. Thank you to all at the hotel whose path we crossed, helped in every way possible, and making this a joyous and happy stay / occasion. Ps. The Moroccan doughnuts served at breakfast are a must.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings! The hotel staff were professional, attentive and nothing was too much trouble! We were booked on an earlier flight and got to the hotel at 11am, much earlier than the check in time of 3pm. Staff went out of their way to make sure a family junior suite was ready for us within half an hour. All in all a wonderful experience and 4 day stay at the Movenpick Marrakech.

Beautiful hotel in good location

Pros: Decor, the grounds, facilities and location
Cons: Softer mattress and a pillow menu
Location: Ideal location for visiting the medina and the new town. Most sights are a short taxi ride away.
We arrived around midday at the hotel and our rooms weren’t ready, which wasn’t a problem as we decided to have lunch at one of the pool side restaurants. The check in and check out process at reception was incredibly slow and apart from the lady in charge the knowledge of the staff was well below par for a five star hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our rooms were very nice and located in a quiet area. Good choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ideal location for visiting the sights and shops, all easily reached by taxi. Overall a nice hotel and I would stay here again. Although most of the staff were friendly and willing they do miss the professional touch.

LES SUITES SONT ELOIGN2ES DE TOUT, mais tres propre,s cependant le parc, les exterieurs sont négligés pour un 5 étoiles. Les parasols au bord de la piscine sont dechirés , cassés. Des carreaux manquent dans les piscine mais le plus sont les coussins sur les transats et au petit déjeunés sont trés sales et on a pas envie de s'assoir dessus

Das Hotel ist sehr bequem und bietet eine grosse Auswahl an Möglichkeiten, was bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie auch erwartet werden darf. Unser einziger Minuspunkt sind die Sprachkenntnisse einzelner Personen im Service in Französisch.
