Excellent hotel

Pros: Quad room was excellent. Our booking was for half board and the evening buffet meals were very good.
Cons: Originally requested room for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 10 and 8). When we arrived they put us in a 'twin room'' which only had 2 single beds which they said was sufficient to sleep 4 people - they would not provide additional mattresses. After much discussion they upgraded to a quad room with 4 single beds free of charge.
Location: Exit to Haram is via 2 different lifts - just be aware it takes a few minutes extra.

Bad reception services

I had a very bad experience with the reception desk. When I got to the hotel to check in I gave the reception clerk my passport and email confirmation of the booking but he checked his computer and then he said to me that I don't have reservation, I asked him to look again and he did, but again said that I don't have reservation and I should ring the agent to check. At that time I really panicked as I know it will be impossible to find accommodation in Makkah. Luckily I asked him that I want to speak to the supervisor and the supervisor. The supervisor asked me for the email I used for the booking and he found my booking, but when I expressed my frustration to the supervisor and I said why should this happen then the supervisor threatened to cancel my booking although after that he said he was just kidding. Secondly the shower flooded and we asked for it to be repaired but was not repaired.

Excellent umrah

very satisfying stay, staff were very helpful and attended to our every request and location from the Haram is only few minutes
