Good location & basic hotel. Very helpful staff. Room very compact, bed below quality in terms of size, comfort and bedding. Car park extra charge. Noisy road if on front of hotel.

We're sorry to hear that the IHG brand double beds were not to your preference on this occasion - we do have firmer or softer mattress options that can be requested. With the car park being externally owned and operated, we can only offer the discounted rate of £5 as advertised . We hope this does not put you off staying in the future

Very poor signage to car park. Had to stop outside and go to reception to find out how to access it. Scrambled eggs are the bane of a buffet breakfast! Why not offer a choice?

Holiday Inn Express are restricted to what buffet items we can offer - we can only offer Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs and beans and we can offer partial continental options too - this is the same in every single hotel around the world. The reason we cant offer more as if we did this will mix the brand up with Holiday Inn Paul

The rooms were nice and clean good work space if travelling for work however the lack of a restaurant etc is limiting and as I observed a different customer loose his table while at the bar getting a drink found this bizarre and unacceptable way to have a bar / cafe as it’s called
