Positives Lady on reception was pleasant, Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable Negatives Food was eatable although stay away from side order of veg as it was frozen vegetables cremated in the microwave wave. Sent it back. Chef smoked outside in his chef uniform Not all drinks on the menu were available The free WiFi in the room was none existent and with no telephone signal this is important. There communication skill are none existent.: If you dare to leave anything behind be prepared to never see it again or even have any communication about it. Day after I left I sent message via contact on there Facebook informing them exactly Where I’d left some thing behind. The message was read but no reply. It’s not as if I needed them to cover the cost I said I would. Since then I have sent 2 emails more Facebook messages and a phone call that was not even answered.

Falling to bits!

Pretty much everything in the room was broken, patched up or on its last legs. Mattress felt like it was 50 years old - also a really annoying banging door from the courtyard area.

Not 4 star standard

We chose this hotel due to location, which was very good in Woburn village at a reasonable price - but certainly not cheap. On checking in we joined a queue of people at reception which was unmanned - the two phone numbers given on the notice at the desk to ring if unattended did not muster a response, despite the people in front of us ringing at least 10 times, even texting the number to say we were waiting! There were six separate bookings waiting by the time someone appeared to check us in - which was done quickly and efficiently, just after waiting for 15 minutes! The room was pleasant and with character in the old hotel - there were some very dubious looking white stains on the purple fabric cover on the bed, which was pretty unpleasant. The bedside drawer also had in it a condom and a couple of empty condom wrappers - I tried not think about potential linkages, but did suggest to the receptionist on the way out that cleaning could be improved... Breakfast was pleasant and well cooked.
