Beautiful hotel and surroundings.

Location: Lovely walks and plenty to do in Carrick On Shannon
Beautiful hotel and beautiful view and wonderful gardens. A pity no swimming pool but you cannot have everything

Leisurely break

We were unable to explore the surrounding area due to the inclement weather. However we cannot fault the hotel in any way - the staff were particularly friendly and helpful....they had time to have a conversation and made us feel very welcome.

Elegant, relaxed getaway

Stayed for two nights on family recommendation and got a very good deal for bed and breakfast. Probably what we would call a stately home in UK, rather than a castle, with beautiful grounds and fine drawing rooms. Very good accommodation and restaurant and excellent service. Relaxed and unstuffy. I plan to return when next in Ireland.
