Had to cancel due to the covid pandemic but the hotel was not willing to refund my booking costs or even offer a voucher to use at a future date.

The location is well situated near to the main train station, the area is not one of the cleanest or most inspiring in Munich. The rooms don’t look like the images as such, rooms are dated and in need of some TLC. Breakfast was ok.

Breakfast tasted very good. The front desk staff nice and willing to help. But the room I stayed in was small and tired looking. The shower cubicle was blocked for the first two days. The bathroom smelled of urine. The shower cubicle was covered in mould. Good thing though, when complained to front desk they offered me another room, which was cleaner and better but even smaller. So I had to refuse and remained in my room.

lovely hotel

Lovely hotel about 5 mins from station, room clean and tidy and in good condition. Good choice at breakfast, restaurant could be a little bigger as a bit cramped. Christmas markets about a 10 min walk from station in opposite direction.

Nice hotel near Hauptbahnhof

Pros: Friendly, clean, contemporary, breakfast
Cons: A facility for storing luggage ( early arrival or late departure) would be useful as we came early and were hoping for a ready room.
Location: 15 minute walk to pedestrian area and 5 minute walk from Hauptbahnhof.
Clean and friendly hotel near Hauptbahnhof, there is no lobby to meet or wait for friends or family. Breakfast very good and constantly refilled. Small room and can be crowded when full, but breakfast choice is making up for it.

nahe an der Altstadt/ÖV freundliches Personal in der Nähe gibt es günstige Parkmöglichkeiten -gewisse Dinge wurden nur oberflächlich renoviert (Fensterrahmen sind sehr dreckig/schimmel, Abfluss stinkt, sehr viel Staub/es wird nocht gründlich gereinigt, WC gewisse Kalkablagerungen, Balkon voller Vogelkake)
