Central hotel,close to main train station.

Pros: Fairly central, good facilities, helpful staff
Close to main train station which has very easy transfers direct from Munich airport. Hotel is walking distance from train station with a wheeled suitcase. No need for a taxi if you are reasonably healthy - about 5 minute walk. A 10 - 15 minute stroll down to Marienplatz

Return visit

We have stayed in this hotel at least 10 times. It is very convenient for the Lufthansa airport bus and the main railway station, and it is a very pleasant 15 minutes walk to the main square in the old city. The reception staff are always welcoming and helpful. The rooms are decorated in 'English Country House' style, and are rather small, but the beds are very comfortable and the showers are excellent. Breakfast is very good, and the staff in the breakfast room, especially the man from Tibet, are friendly and helpful. We have never been disturbed by noise during the night. We will book this hotel for our next visit to Munich.

Honeymoon

We stayed in this Hotel on our Honeymoon.We were immediately upgraded to a Club room on informing them it was our honeymoon.The room was spotlessly clean and very quiet.The hotel is in a lovely central location within 5 minutes walk of central station.The area is very safe and friendly.we would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone travelling to Munich.

Excellently situated and very helpful staff

The hotel is excellently situated being close to the main station in Munich as well as the old city centre. Car hire place immediately across the road too. Staff were most pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Excellent buffet style breakfast and comfortable stay.

October Beer Festival

Excellent location and great hotel. Unfortunately price sky high due to beer festival. Highly recommended. Staff knowledgeable and helpful, and rooms clean and comfortable.
