Beautiful paradise island. Went for our honeymoon and came back with beautiful memories. Watersports available on the private beach and amazing restaurant with a delicious buffet for dinner. Highly recommend!

Pros: It is safe , nice people , on the sea, sandy beach nice walking place .
Cons: price of the rooms & restaurants.
The resort is very worm & on the sea is a relaxing place . The people working at the facility are very freindly. But the rooms are expensive ($350/night ) also food is very expensive we payed ($150. per person for a dinner ) I would say we are paying double price of the service we are getting. Frankly speaking it is too expensive.

Really nice hotel , great for families with kids ,

Would have liked to choose which one of the 3 separate hotels we would like to stay in as , was allocated Al waha resort which was great , but Al bander was a little better , in my opinion , so would have liked to be given a choice , but overall a great experience .

Nice beach and friendly staff but overpriced hotel

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The beach was nice and the staff friendly.
Cons: The price.. did not feel like value for money.
Location: Location is close to Muscat but feels remote given its location in the bay. Turtles were amazing.
Definitely a family resort. Lots of kids around. The hotel room itself was fine but nothing amazing which was surprising given the price we paid. Food and drinks were expensive but same as other 5 star hotels in the area.

fantastic holiday

We thoroughly recommend the Al Bandar hotel with its magnificent location, and spent much time a the beach and amazing pool. The Chi spa was beyond relaxing although a little expensive especially with the 17percent tax. Having lived in the middle east for 3 years we found the staff to be the most courteous, friendly, well trained and helpful ever and congratulations must be given to the management for this. Our times at the beach were made more enjoyable by the assistance from the staff who provided towels, cold water and on one occasion... Fresh fruit salad. The buffet breakfast was enough to keep us satisfied till dinner where we recommend the Seafood restaurant Bait al Bahr offered a stunning view and romantic atmosphere, and the Capri court where I tasted the freshest, most delicate calf cheek ravioli. Thankyou for a wonderful late ramadan holiday, and we will be sure to return.

Wonderful experience

From the drive into the hotel. You get a sense of beauty and serenity. The staff are very helpful and courteous . The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, it made you feel,that you did not have to go anywhere else - just enjoy the hotel. I did not even need to turn on the TV. I just enjoyed the view and peaceful ambience.
