Despite agreeing not to charge a holding deposit to my Revolut card (international travel pre-paid card), they charged $50. They say this has been refunded, but nearly two weeks later, the refund is not showing on my account. Knowing Revolut take time to process these sorts of refunds, I had specifically offered them another card for my holding deposit when checking in. They said this wasn't necessary as they would not charge my Revolut card unless I charged anything to my room, thus no holding deposit. This left me $50 short towards the end of my vacation. The hotel made no effort to put any of this right. Ebookers have spoken to them and the hotel are still not accepting any responsibility for their mistake.
I was not the only customer complaining to them about charges to cards that should not have been there. There appeared to be a worrying mix of incompetence, flippancy and potentially fraudulent activity taking place by the front desk at this hotel. I have given them three opportunities to put it right, including refunding the $50 they charged me in cash and them keeping the amount incorrectly charged to my card. Sadly, they do not seem interested in correcting their mistake.
Lovely hotel and location, albeit you are largely paying for the location, the hotel is somewhat overpriced for its quality) - completely ruined by their front desk management. A real shame.

Great Hote, Great Location
3rd Time to stay at this Hotel, on the beach perfect for sunsets and nice walks,with their own very nice pool

Tolles Hotel direkt an schönem Sandstrand, mit toller Poolanlage. Geräumige, komfortable Zimmer, alles sehr sauber. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Absolut empfehlenswert!
