Lovely period building, great location with lots of places to eat. Near the subway station. However a fridge & tea msking facilities in the room would make perfect

Ok Stay

Pros: Comfort and cleanliness
Cons: Staff attitude and helpfulness
Location: Plenty of places to eat within a couple of blocks. Hotel is between 2 subway stops so a short walk to get onto the red, blue and orange lines
Nice hotel with big rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, room did not contain any drawers so had to live out of our suitcases. All that space and no storage for clothes! Room also did not contain any facilities for hot water for tea/coffee. For saying this is not a cheap hotel I think a kettle is a basic requirement. Asked several different staff members who kept saying they didn't have a kettle. Eventually I had to resort to standing at reception until one showed up, 2 minutes later hey presto, a kettle. Not a bad location for the subway but are better located hotels.

Excellent hotel

Pros: I liked how clean it was and the staff were all lovely and friendly.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms would be nice.
Location: Good location very close to Central park which I loved and the subway was also close by.
Our room was lovely, very clean, huge comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Only negative there was no coffee / tea facilities in our room. The staff were fantastic very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect very close to Central park and only a short distance to the subway. Plenty of places to eat nearby and a very handy super market just two blocks down.

Hôtel très bien situé à proximité du métro et de central Park. Le personnel est adorable et très disponible. Un petit bémol sur la propreté de la salle de bains en l occurrence, mais rien qui ne nous fasse oublier cet excellent séjour. J y reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Sauber und freundlich. Preis- Leistung Ist für New York gut. Ich bin gerne unabhängig und dafür war es ideal. Das Hotel ist noch in der Renovationsphase aber das hat nicht gestört. Das Umfeld des Hotels ist gut. Auch die Nähe zur Natur in Central Park und am Hudson ist als Erholung zur Stadt angenehm.
