The hotel decor especially the lobby and restaurant are nice. However the location leaves a lot to be desired!! On the first morning directly outside the entrance we ran into a unsavoury characters, begging for money, passed out on the floor, lots of trash, and not much around to do! We had to walk each day 20-30 streets to visit attractions or pay (plus tip) yellow taxis just to get around! Also the restaurant is nice but expensive with a very limited menu. The room was cleaned each day but not throughly with products not being replaced, and surfaces cleaned in a hurry! There was a stain on the bathroom door (it was there when we entered) and stayed there till I wiped it!! Not great considering the “facilities” fee they charge you when you check out!
