Great stay at Pointe Plaza

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pointe Plaza. The hotel is located not too far from the subway and it was easy to get to central Manhattan. Rooms were spacious and clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast offered every morning is an added bonus. For anyone visiting New York on a budget then I would definitely recommend a stay at Pointe Plaza hotel.

Exploring New York

This hotel was fantastic value for money. The location was an extremely safe location as the Jewish community were out and about keeping an eye out. The staff were fantastic and no request was ever to much hassle. Elli the porter was full of useful information about the community, the hotel and the best places to visit and shop. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast room a bit small, but the fact you can take food back to your room was just as easy.

Angenehmes Hotel im jüdischen Quartier.

Bis Metro 15.min laufen. Die Zimmer haben Küche mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Herd und Kaffeemaschine aber kein Geschirr (bekommt man auf Anfrage). Frühstück ist minimalistisch aber das reicht.

Attention!

Located in deep jewish neighborhood. That means there are no regular foodmarkets around. All that should be mentioned in a prober way in a hotel text.

prijs/kwaliteit erg goed, wel een afstand naar metro voor lijn naar manhatten

Hotel zeer schoon, grote kamers, prima badkamer en goed ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Een minpuntje,lopend is de afstand naar het populaire williamsburg te ver. Tip:huur een (City) Nike. Afstand naar metro voor de lijn naar manhatten ongeveer 20 minuten

Ideal wenn man nicht zu hohe Ansprüche hat

Das Hotelpersonal ist fantastisch, grad zu beginn haben wir diverse Stadtpläne erhalten und das Rezeptionsteam ist jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt im jüdischen Viertel, wo man sich zumindest sicher fühlt. Die Umgebung ist aber katastrophal, da das jüdische Viertel stinkt und vor jeder Haustür Abfallbergen stehen. Um zur Subway zu gelangen, ist das aber unumgänglich. 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt liegen zwei U-Bahnstationen, wovon die eine nur eine Haltestelle von Manhatten entfernt ist. Das Frühstück wird in Wegwerfgeschirr serviert aber auch daran gewöhnt man sich. Im Hotelflur und im Zimmer stimmt es scheusslich, da der Teppich wohl nie angemessen gereinigt wird und es ist auch überall staubig. Positiv war aber die Grösse des Zimmers. Es gab eine Küchenecke und genügend Stauraum, was zu diesem Preis in New York bestimmt nicht leicht zu bekommen ist. Alles in allem war das Hotel für einen Städtetrip in Ordnung - wir würden aber trotzdem nicht mehr in dieses Hotel gehen.
