Friendly staff. Well equipped and clean rooms. Continental breakfast is Complimentary so this hotel offers excellent value for money. I’d stay again.

This was a very late booking and for a fantastic price I got a great room, which included orange juice water and chocolate in the mini fridge.Tea and coffee making facilities and milk in the fridge....BONUS!!! Great comfy bed, continental breakfast included, great choice and a great bar and lounge attached which was very busy but stops at 11pm. I would not hesitate to book this place again..warm friendly welcome from reception made it all a great experience!!!

For the price it was ok. Was very loud at some points during the night. It that’s because of where my room was situated. And it’s next door to a pub

Comfy hotel in Jesmond

Hotel with all you would expect. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is superb. Close to all the amenities.

Perfect for business travel

I have stayed at Carlton during week days, as I travel to newcastle for work. Over the last 2 months, I have never felt the need to change or look for another place. The locate is convenient and the staff is friend and helpful

Comfortable stay

The staff is nice and friendly. Hotel is very well located and convenient for all transports - the supermarket on the opposite side of the road - make it the perfect location for professionals, coming to town for work.

Good Racing Weekend

Picked the Carlton Hotel because of price and easy access to Newcastle Racecourse. Was satisfied on both counts but the weekend in the hotel started off poorly with a row in the bar which caused me not to frequent the bar after that. Perhaps this was an isolated incident but it did put a damper on my weekend. Without that incident I would recommend this hotel.
