When we arrived we were told where the apartment suites were. They are in a separate building, but it was difficult to find with no sign posting. It was torrential rain and when we found where we thought our room was the key card wouldn’t work, so we thought we were in the wrong place. We walked around some more in the rain and then tried the room again, but still no luck. We returned to reception and they re programmed the card, no apology. The person in front had the same issue. We had no hot water in the room and the bathroom window leaked so I had to put towels on the floor to soak it up. Reported to reception who didn’t even apologise! Spa was nice, bit rough around the edges with tiles missing etc. The spa garden experience was great! The restaurant was ok, although getting drinks takes a very long time. We ordered our cocktails and they arrived after the starter. Then a glass of wine for the main arrived once we had pretty much finished! The hotel smelt musty in parts and when walking around the hotel there were bin bags, laundry and general rubbish from room cleaning on the corridors, not what you would expect when you pay this much for a hotel. Parking was also very difficult. I wouldn’t go again!
