Very tired hotel with too few staff. Rooms very small with old furnishings. The night we stayed they had a couple of coaches and there was long waits for drinks at the bar and a chaotic dining room.

We got there at 620 got to the room 210 and walked in and the smell knocked me off my feet it was like sewage .i though someone went a toilet before we got there. So i said to my hubby let go out get something to eat .then come bk and walked in a the smell hit u .we stayed for about 15 minutes and the we checked out .so we was there in the room all together about 30 minutes not good

Comfortable Hotel in a quiet area of Newquay

Pros: We liked the Bistro where we always ate on our three night break.
Cons: Room fans could be made available.
Location: Quite a few National Trust outlets in this area or visit the zoo. Great beaches for the family to enjoy but pay attention to the lifeguards.
Good value rooms in a comfortable hotel. Pay a little extra for a panoramic view of Fistral Bay. Choice of restaurant, either the main hotel restaurant or the new on site bistro. Small indoor heated swimming pool.

Thank you for your review we are definitely spoilt with our location the views are beautiful and lots of coastal paths, I am pleased that you enjoyed our bistro Sixty it is a new addition to the hotel and is very popular. I agree on a hot day sometimes fans are needed I will stock some more and have then at reception for when requested. I hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future Kind Regards

Location: We travelled a short Distance to Padstow, then onto Port Issac the setting for ITV's Doc Martin then upto the famous Jamaica Inn all was superb
We have just returned from a stay here , there was always gonna be challenges as i have MS and blind in 1 eye, it was a muggy and thundery spell i have temperature issues the girl in reception went and got us a fan , the staff throughout our short stay were superb, so much so will definitely be back next year without hesitation we recommend this 5* service 5* staff at a 3* hotel what's not to like thanks goes to all the staff here many thanks

Lovely hotel, walking distance to the beach

Stayed here for 2 nights, staff all friendly and welcoming.. would recommend to family and friends. Very nice and quiet peaceful stay

Best Location Hotel.

This older well facelifted Hotel is enjoyable for ist style, ocean views and best Location at the cap with short walks to beaches and cap. The Food is good and here we got also our only acceptable Continental breakfast in 16 days, Restaurant was always a bit windy and chilly but on request this was improved by closing Windows. After all: a good stay with a Family at a perfect Price to Quality Balance.
