I was upgraded from a single room to a suite , great but the suite was not great, the bath taps and plug didn't work properly, the balcony door stuck and the under floor heating was impossible to control.

I liked there was a decent tv unfortunately the remote was a little dodge. The room was freezing cold and filthy with pubes in the bath and a dirty carpet. Whenever we tried to call down to reception we didn’t even get an answer we sat on the phone waiting for a good 15 mins on one occasion. The staff was slow and cleanliness was poor. We refused to wash our baby girl as the bath was dirty and it was freezing. Over all not the best experience and we wouldn’t go back.

Noisy hotel

When we booked we were not told that there were numerous Christmas parties being held with loud music until midnight. We asked to be moved but all they could say was that they were fully booked. What would it have mattered if they moved two rooms around as there were rooms away from the noise. The hotel does not have a lift which made it difficult for someone with walking problems. Breakfast very basic hotel public areas need updating. Bedrooms too hot as underfloor heating cannot be regulated. Would not stay here again very unsatisfactory

The hotel is a little tired.

Pros: The room was small but clean. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The noise from the car park where wedding guests leaving persisted in talking loudly.
Location: Good location just outside of the city centre our visit was to attend family party.
