Really safe and pleasant stay at the hotel (as a female solo traveller). I received a warm welcome, the room was a very spacious single room with a very clean comfortable bed, there was a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits, a flat screen tv, nice towels and basic toiletries. I ate out in the morning so I can't comment on the breakfast or bar. The hotel is in a great location seconds away from the beach and a few minutes to the train station, there are plenty of shops and cafes on the same street. There are a few little DIY jobs that would improve the room but overall it was very good value for money and I would definately stay again. I would recommend shutting the window at night because the seagulls were very loud in the morning!

The position is very good for the train station and in between the old and new area of shops which is very useful. It is a budget hotel and in that respect you get value for money. The room was clean with a decent TV. Plumbing may need looking at further.
