Did not like the location of the room 333 Went to bed 10 pm music did not finish until midnight We were not told that there was a party night being held had we have known this we would have asked for a quiet room Also the floor outside was very noisy and we could hear all movement on the corridor. Stayed at cedar court several times and this is the first time I have had cause for complaint

During the festive period we run public party nights over all the weekends, and am sorry that you were not made aware of this. The floors in the corridor you were staying on date back to the original building which was constructed in the 1600's so i do apologise for this. i hope this stay has not tainted your view on our hotels and i hope you stay again in the future. You pretty much get what you pay. My frustration with this stay lies in how difficult the hotel was to get hold off, they don't answer the phone or respond to IMs, though they're happy to IM spam trying to upsell.

Nice location. We had one of the more recently refurbed rooms so all nice. There was still work going on, the corridors are dated and in need of work as noted in previous reviews, that will likely be done soon I would think. They do strictly not let you check in slightly early, unless you pay extra. I don't believe that most of the rooms were not ready at 13:30. This was a bit annoying as I lot of us were staying there for a wedding and needed to be in slightly early. They did let us use a conference room to get changed though so thumbs up for that. Overall a bit pricey at 90 quid a night room only IMO but couldn't see cheaper elsewhere in Harrogate really.
