Arrived late after a tedious drive from London and received a very pleasing friendly welcome.....I travel a lot and don't take that for granted as its unfortunately rare. A bit put out to be told that Wifi access was over £12!? AND I'm not interested in joining the Hilton club just to get something that is free everywhere I stay. A big minus point for me. Check out was a dream with, again, a friendly face to send me on my way.

Communal areas could do with sprucing up a bit. Breakfast was ok but not great. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Room very nice!

Please accept my apologies for the disappointment with your room. We do have a maintenance programme in place to update the hotel including the guest bedrooms. We have started to improve our communal areas and have already redecorated and replaced the carpet in the lobby, bar, Business Court and Guest Suites. We are hopefully going to be able to start planning the guest room improvements ready for our next refurbishment shortly. Easy and quick check in. Swimming pool was a good size and the jacuzzi/steam rooms were a bonus. The breakfast was busy, but the staff were really helpful and did their best (I was there with 2 young children). The rooms were large and clean. In fact the hotel was very clean. The only niggle Is the doors are ‘slam shut’, so if you leave them to shut on there own they are noisy....especially at night. It’s a tricky balance, security wise it’s good, but late at night not so good. That said I would definitely stay here again.
