Fantastic - would definitely recommend. Booked 1 night for my mother, who was arriving late in the evening that same day. Very helpful over the phone, and I am told the room and breakfast were both excellent - underfloor heating, freshly-baked bread, and fitted out to an excellent standard.

5* accommodation

Pros: the English country room, with great views over the countryside from the top of the hill, had everything needed.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Cheshire Oaks, Blakemere Village, Anderton Boat lift
This place is a hidden jewel. This is halfway between a B&B and a hotel, giving the intimacy of the personal touch, but not staying in somebody's house, because the converted barn is separate to the main farmhouse. We stayed in the English country room, with great views over the countryside from the top of the hill, had everything needed. Breakfast is served in a self contained guest area with a separate lounge, available for guests to use. Richard gave us a warm welcome both on arrival and coming down for breakfast, and its a family affair with even his granddaughter waiting on us. If we have cause to visit the area again, there is nowhere else we will be booking.

Well thought out accommodation

Location: Plenty of pubs providing excellent food. As this was just a chill out break did not do much but know there is plenty to see and do
Spotlessly clean. Well thought out. Everything you could need for an overnight stay. Really good breakfast. Plenty to do and see in close proximity thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back in the near future
