Nice location, clean with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and amenities were great. We had a really great stay for 3 days and 2 nights and would return.

Not worth the money

I had a very disappointing stay here. I paid over £70 for one nights stay for a family members wedding. When checking in someone had somehow already checked in under my name and we were left waiting around for the issue to be resolved, to then be given a room in the grim basement of the hotel when I was told we had been upgraded. The hallway was messy & there were empty bottles & classes outside our room & many other rooms along the way it looked like the aftermath of a student party! The room was clean but old & dated with really old grubby carpets making it feel dirty. If this was an upgrade I’d hate to think what the other rooms must be like!

Good hotel . Friendly staff.

Good . Comfortable hotel . All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed over night for the company christmas do. My wife used some of the spa treatments/pool , said they were good. One of the most comfortable beds i ever stayed in .

Business

Stayed here in the past. Still a good experience allround. Only thing that could do with improvement is the corridors to the rooms need a good lick of paint. Staff as usual were first class.

Hotel needs updating. Looks tired in some areas

Stayed for 2 nights. Mattress in double bedroom was extremely soft. Now have back pain due to the uncomfortable nights sleep. Reception, restuarant & cleaning staff friendly. Room not 100% clean, not worth complaining about but noticeable. Dust in cupboards, hair in sink. Food ok but expensive for the quality. Pool and spa area was nice. Definate highlight of the visit. Overall this is a 4 star hotel but should be a 3. Fairly underwhelmed and would look to use a different hotel next time I visit Nottingham.

Business break

The hotel spa and pool facilities are the cleanest I've ever encountered. It was a delight to use the pool and jacuzzi. Only a handful of guests using them meant it was a very pleasurable end to a stressful working day. The bedrooms and en suite were similarly clean and comfortable. All staff provided a great level of service. Friendly and welcoming without being overly attentive. Highly recommended for a business stopover.

Relaxing Getaway

My partner and I stayed here for a one night Getaway. It was exactly what we wanted. Relaxing and clean with helpful staff, a lovely leisure centre and comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay and will happily return.
