All in all a very comfortable stay, breakfast was very good, and the staff were very polite and friendly. the only minor niggle I experienced was in connection with two items. Firstly, it was advertised that a safe was in the room, there was no safe. Additionally, room service was advertised and a bar, the bar was not open and there was no room service menu. I can only imagine that these issues will be corrected as the hotel completes the refurbishment that is being undertaken.

I stayed in room 366 which was the first room to be refurbished. Many aspects of the works were an improvement, but I did notice a number from a guest perspective which could have been improved. To be fair the hotel did take these on board and are due to be rectified as the works are not complete.

The rooms are currently being refurbished and there is a change in branding due. However the leisure facilities need urgent works as part of this upgrading.

Regular visitor to the hotel which has recently changed ownership. I understand some refurbishment is planned. Rooms are fine within a confined space, but perhaps a larger TV would be helpful. Corridors could do with an upgrade. The leisure centre needs the most work - changing rooms on different level to the swimming pool, small swimming pool (3 or 4 people therein and its full) and finally the showers are pathetic.

No problems. Handy locally with restaurants and a pub opposite. Leisure centre opened at 8.00am. Breakfast increased since before Christmas from £7.50 to £8.50, but still worth it. 15 minute walk to the Victoria Centre but always a crawl up Mansfield Road hill.

On the pic shows one room , but in reality absolutly another one. The room had very bad window whole night you could hear wind outside, unbelievable !!!!!((((((( the room smells like very old place like and the bed was done very bad not rightly like smb., made forctheirselves not for the guests. Complitly unsatisfied

Room and service fine. Stayed here many times. Leisure facilities not available as no towels available - only suggestion was to go all the way back to my room and use the one provided there - since on a tight timescale this was not practical.
