Comfortable Hotel very friendly owners and staff

Pros: Clean, comfortable room and friendly owners and staff.
Cons: No improvement required.
Location: Rutland water, Melton Mowbray, Anglian Water bird watching centre and Barnsdale gardens are within easy distance yet the inn is situated in a tranquil
Our 3 day stay was an excellent experience. Chris and Yolande are perfect hosts who made us feel welcome and found time to chat and offer advice on visits etc.. The breakfasts and evening meals were well prepared and presented and very enjoyable. We will happily stay at the White Lion on any future visits to Rutland.

Lovely old pub.

Pros: Food was extremely good and large amounts of it.
Cons: Nothing, it is fine as it is

Delightful place to stay. Very pleasant owners, friendly local customers. Spacious parking area.

Nice pub with good accommodation

Had a good overnight stay in this lovely pub . Room was very nice and very comfortable bed . Good bathroom with very good shower . Excellent breakfast included in the price . Evening meal was extremely good and very good value for money .!
