Disappointed in response to my call

Pros: The hotel itself was fine.. Close to everything but the stay was overshadowed by the loss of my things.
Cons: Customer service.
I telephoned on the day we left and told the receptionist when I eventually got through that I had left 2 personal items in my room by mistake. I followed the procedure to email the website quoting the number but had absolutely no response at all from the hotel. The stay itself was fine but now I am sure my two items are lost forever so was very upset that they didn't seem to care. I told them the room number and where I had left the two items. I am sure if they had sent someone up to the room they could have found the items before the next people came in.
