Conventions

Convention centres in and around Oslo include the Norway Convention Centre, located just outside the city. Large and small events can be accommodated in any of the centres and arenas. Points of Interest

No trip to Oslo would be complete without a visit to the National History Museum with its botanical gardens and greenhouses. In addition to Oslo's other excellent museums, the largest collection of sculptures, paintings and drawings can be found at the National Gallery. Historic landmarks include the Holmenkollen Ski Museum and Tower, Akershus Fortres and the Viking Ship Museum.

Sports

The Holmenkollen Ski Festival is one of the annual World Cup tournaments held at the Holmenkollen National Arena. Sports attractions in Oslo include the Ulleval Stadion, which is the home arena of Valerenga Fotball and Norway’s national football team, and Bislett Stadion which is the main arena for track and field events. Visitors to Oslo can practise zip-lining, skiing and ice-skating.
