Dear Guest Thank you for your review, I am very sorry and embarrassed at the lack of welcome you received on arrival, we do have a couple of new members in the team who are still learning and in a couple of cases the English language as well. The desk is a welcome desk and the staff are trained to stand up and greet the guest, I am afraid however due to a major technical problem with the system operated by AccorHotels and a number of other brands throughout the world has crashed on a couple of occasions recently. This has been all of a sudden and not expected, so I am afraid the team have on occasions been almost blind as to what we have available, limited if any access to system and no back-up at the time of the crash, I do apologise. I am sorry you would not wish to return to the hotel again, the Macdonald Randolph is a 5* hotel and has the space and size to offer a variety of bedrooms.
