value for money

Food was good but themed food nights added to the variety of buffet dining but would have been enhanced by appropriate background music to add to the ambience Security was good but I separated the key and electrical switch fob - in case of an emergency exit at night - one would not need to fumble for the keyhole in the datk

Quiet break.

Very pleasant week on b & b basis at this smallish hotel situated adjacent to the beach on a side street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of food available at breakfast whether the hotel was busy or quiet. Definitely a 3 star hotel with no frills,no entertainment, no tea and coffee making facilities. You have to pay to use the TV, WiFi and the safe but that's understandable as their prices are truly rock bottom. There are plenty of TVs in the bar lounge and in the two rooms behind the reception desk. The bedoom was basic, clean and tired looking but spacious and adequate for the price. Towels and sheets changed when necessary and rooms cleaned and made up as per usual each day.The bedroom patio doors looked out onto a wall but there was a small patio with two chairs to sit outside or dry your swimwear or wetsuits. The only downside was that the twin beds were a bit uncomfortable and towards the end of the week when we decided to turn one of them over, as we could feel the springs digging in, the spring had actually poked through the matress. We realised afterwards that we could have asked to have them changed for sponge mattresses if they had any spare and I'm sure the staff would have obliged. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms. The swimming pool was clean and the maintenance team were busy around the hotel keeping on top of the garden and pool etc. There's plenty of room to relax inside and outside of the hotel. We tried an evening meal at the hotel at only 8 euros per head and found it to be extremely good value especially compared to some of the prices in the surrounding restaurants. The hotel was very easy to find and we took a number 21 blue bus, from the airport (opposite arrivals, get on the escalator or just cross the road) we only had to wait a few minutes. It arrived in Can Pastilla in less than ten minutes and costs 2 euros 50. A big saving from the 20 euros the taxi drivers charge. we had a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We had a late flight home and the hotel staff made a shower room available to us so that we could spend the last day on the beach and get changed before the flight. The last day was very calm and relaxed. We were very pleased with our stay and have no hesitation in recommending it for all ages.

Everything alrigh but pool are always full, I couldn’t swim there….
