Excellent location Helpful staff Dated Room & Bath

Outside looks appealing. Very easy distance from Luxembourg RER B station to Hotel from CdeG airport. Get the fast train which takes approx 40 mins cost €10.60 per person each way. Hotel staff very helpful and speak very good English helpful especially if your French isn't all that. Couldn't fault them and they were very kind and welcoming. Top marks on this point. However! The room was small and the bathroom mini. Very dated. Damp patches up the wall. Flaking paintwork. The bathroom was horrendous especially the shower which unspeakable really. The grout was discoloured and missing. What was left was various shades of black, purple and somewhere in between. The water didn't drain so got a surprising foot spa twice a day. No ventilation or extractor either so got very steamy. The toilet kept constantly refilling and keeping my husband awake half the night. Not sure who runs the maintenance department but they need to bleach, take the remains of all the old sealant off, and replace with CT1. We did raise our concerns and were told they had problems in the past but although unsightly the bathroom was clean. Although fully booked on arrival the hotel said we could change rooms after the first day but we were out for 12 hours sightseeing and didn't want to replace one room for something similar. We walked everywhere during our 3 night stay as the location allowed us to see everything we had planned on our itinerary without taking the Metro once. Our feet and hips did suffer!

Très bon séjour

très bon accueil, hôtel très bien situé proche des Jardins du Luxembourg, du Panthéon, de Notre Dame..., chambre à caractère, chaleureuse.

Wir wurden wegen Überbuchung in ein anderes Hotel einquartiert. Das andere Hotel entsprach etwa dem gebuchten. Die Umstände waren niemandem eine Entschuldigung wert. Das Zimmer war wegen der angrenzenden Lüftungsanlage sehr laut, eine Umquartierung war nicht möglich. Es ist generell fraglich ob ein Zimmer der Kategorie superieur (und das habe ich bezahlt !) gerade neben der Lüftungszentrale liegen darf ! Das ist der Nachteil der on-line-Buchung - alles ist bezahlt und niemand kümmert sich um einen, das Geld ist futsch. Ich werde dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen können und es auch niemals wieder buchen. Mit bestem Gruss Christoph Schuepp

Renovationsbedürftiges Hotel

Pros: Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Lage ist relativ ruhig, obwohl die Distanz zum Boulevard Saint-Michel klein ist.
Cons: Das Zimmer war extrem eng, das Bad jedoch eher über dem Pariser Durchschnitt. Die Möbel waren teilweise beschädigt. Starke Gebrauchsspuren überall.
Location: Das Hotel liegt gleich am jardin du Luxembourg. Nächste Metrostationen Odéon (5 Minuten zu Fuss) und Saint-Michel (7 Minuten zu Fuss).
Aufenthalt von drei Tagen im November 2016, Dopplezimmer, durch 1 Person belegt.
