I like it! Bathroom was clean with all the staff prepared for us. The room was clean and not that cold ( hitter works very well). Some marks on the walls, but i didnt care. Anyways i came in Paris to visit, not to living in that hotel :)))). The staff was friendly. Every single day cleaners came and made the room to nice with new staff prepared for us. The position its amazkn, nwarly to muzee Louvre, Eiffel, arc do triumph, most of the places which you can visit in 2 or 3 days ( we have 3 nights).

The location is excellent. The hotel is shabby and run down. e.g. badly needs painting, electrical appliances bad, TV small no English (BBC, CNN, ?) channels. Bathroom poor - fragile shower rail. The radiator heating does not work. We asked FIVE times for a heater and were simply IGNORED by hotel staff. This potentially great hotel needs RENOVATION URGENTLY. It spoilt our visit to the marvellos city of Paris.

Family visit of Paris (3 nights)

Pros: Close to visiting sites.
Cons: Room need an upgrade.
Location: One block from the Louvres and two from the Seine river.
Well situated for visit of Paris center. Room are spacious enough, but need a refresher. Everything is dated. Staff was pleasant but for one receptionist.

Spring is Paris

My wife and I spent three nights at the hotel. The location of the hotel was excellent (Musée du Louvre is about 50 metres). The room was clean and silent. We had a very good time there.

Perfect city break

Perfect stay - short city break, staff were perfect and very helpful with all requirements. Location second to none, easily walkable to all attractions no need to take metros. Highly recommend

Photo fair trip

Wonferful location, beautiful old building that could have been glorious. It was not. Very indifferent reception staff, only one room key, and we never got the double bed room we'd paid for. Only hot water from the shower, the cold water tab did not work at all. Extreme by Louvre.

Holiday/cultural trip to Paris

Excellent location, very friendly staff, warm clean hotel, old fashioned but with its own charm. Wifi wasn't always available

Good location and service, disappointed hardware

I booked a 4* hotel to improve the living condition.however, Normandy totally shocked me. Its interior decoration is old. The painting of the wall is peeling on my floor and it is easy to spot. The room is very very small. I travelled in three other counties and lived in 3* hotels of which rooms were all larger than normandy's. When I entered my room, my first sight was a hole in the curtain. Since it is a fairly old building, there is no air conditioning. The bathroom is small too. The mirror definitely needs to be replace as I could barely see my face in it. If anyone wants to know how the ancient people felt when using bronze mirror, you will have the very experience. The edge of the washing basin is high than the washstand. If you have water on the stand, it will go quickly towards you and wet your clothes. Besides, the towels smell really old. There are some good points. First, its bed is very comfortable. It is just the right support for me and I slept very well. Second, the service is very nice. Its cleaning staff and receptionists were very polite and offered good services. Third, its location is very good. It is close to two metro stations, louvre, restaurants, and coffee shops. If you want to go to printemps and Lafayette department stores, it is with 30 minutes on foot.

Location location location

Although 4 star, this hotel does feel tired. The paintwork is chipped and the wallpaper a bit shabby. BUT, within a few steps of the door you acn see the Louvre or the Palais Garnier (Opera) - which is the reason we go back. This time we had a fridge in our room, little tiny balconies to see out over the rooftops of Paris (we were on the 6th floor), and a very useful electric fan. If you have kids or are feeling unadventurous there's even a McDonalds a couple of doors along and a Starbucks across the way! Not everyone's perect ideal, but for a central location we love it.
