Our room was large and airy overlooking the railway station at the back of the hotel. Bathroom was down a few steps and large and well appointed. Rather weirdly the window only had a blind and the glass was clear - with the toilet right next to the window! Service was excellent. We really enjoyed our evening meal there on first night - excellent food, not cheap but lovely. We had breakfast at the Pavillon in the park on first day (following advice of a previous reviewer- brilliant value) but had hotel breakfast on the Sunday. This has to be the most expensive breakfast we’ve had - £16.50 each was steep for what was a good,, but not exceptional meal. If we’d realised the price (no indication anywhere - wish we’d asked! ) we would have eaten more! The hotel is well placed on the corner of South Inch park so city centre is within walking distance and the city is gorgeous. Lovely area around Perth too. e would definitely go back to Perth and loved the hotel, but would breakfast in the park!
